A really moving and inspiring interview. Scilla’s sharing about her personal practices as essential companions to her world peace work are really helpful to know – the meditations, the breathing, Heartmath and hands in the garden. Her deep wisdom and peace shine through in her aspect and words. Thank you for telling us about the courage peacemakers need and take.
And thanks for Robin’s denouement of Wendell Berry’s “Peace of Wild Things” (one of my favs that I carry with me.
A bona fide ‘woman of wisdom’, not to mention courage.
Wonderful interview :-)! I also really enjoyed her book “The business plan for peace”!
I’m wondering if you have a trailer of the interview that I can post on facebook for my organisation? I’d especially like to share the quote about involving women in peacebuilding.
Scilla , you have given us much to reflect on, for a peaceful momentum towards a new beginning and vibrant future as we prepare to face the adversity of the incoming climate change.
